GOP lawmaker says illegal immigrants get ‘pallets’ of scarce baby formula



A Republican lawmaker on Thursday stated unlawful immigrants detained by Border Patrol have entry to hard-to-find child components, whereas U.S. mother and father scramble from retailer to retailer.

A put up on Twitter by Rep. Kat Cammack of Florida present a photograph of empty retailer cabinets in her state alongside a photograph of pallets of child components that, she says, are on the Ursula Migrant Processing Center in McAllen, Texas.

Dozens of child components manufacturers, together with Nido and Advantage, will be seen within the photograph. Ms. Cammack says the photograph was shared together with her by a Customs and Border Protection agent who labored in his job for 30 years.

“They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border. Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula,” Ms. Cammack wrote on Twitter.

She urged her constituents to name Democratic leaders and “demand that the administration take action putting the baby formula back on the shelves for American kids.”

Rep. Paul Gosar, Arizona Republican, responded on Twitter, “It’s even worse.  Biden regime is sending pallets of baby formula for the exclusive use by illegal aliens. The leftists want illegal aliens comfortable while real Americans mothers search desperately to feed their babies.  More America Last.”

Ms. Cammack stated that she was instructed “three more pallets are on their way to the facility.”

It is unclear from the photographs whether or not the components was bought off the cabinets, or whether or not it was a part of the federal government’s present stock that it maintains to cope with the massive variety of households and kids coming throughout the border.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark from The Washington Times.

The pictures come because the Biden administration scrambles to deal with the nationwide scarcity of child components. President Biden on Thursday has a closed-door assembly with child meals retailers and producers to deal with the difficulty.

After the assembly, the White House will announce new steps to sort out the scarcity, an administration official stated.
